Lets look back to 2010. The International GOALKEEPER CONGRESS 2010 took place from 31 July till 1 August 2010 in Zurich at former headquarter of FIFA (Sonnenberg Convention Center) under patronage of Jean-Marie Pfaff, former World Goalkeeper and No.1 of Bayern Munich, Andy Köpke, National Goalkeeper Coach Germany and Swiss Goalkeeperlegend Jörg Stiel.

Following the successful slogan of this conference "Learn from the No.1" in 2008 (Nuremberg) and 2009 (Munich), the global meeting of all

and those interested in football and goalkeeping went successfully into its third round 2010 in Zurich. The 4th edition is already in focus for 2011!
The two-day agenda with nearly 20 speakers (including many world goalkeepers, national goalkeepers and goalkeeper stars and legends) 20 lecture sessions, workshops and discussions in different forums as well as one day dedicated to practical coaching & training has demonstrated the latest trends in goal-keeping, innovative coaching methods and career planning for

A charity fixture followed by a penalty shootout with all delegates and speakers helped to boost the setting up of goalkeeper schools for children all over the world. There was also an invitation for all guest from abroad to visit the famous National Day firework at lake Zurich (Sunday evening).
